Tracking bug nabbed volunteer firefighter suspected of arson
POLICE used a tracking device to monitor a volunteer firefighter suspected of deliberately lighting bushfires, a court has been told. Justin Thomas Broadbent, 23, from Inverell in the north of New South Wales, appeared in Inverell Local Court today charged withcheap runescape accounts 13 counts of intentionally causing fire and being reckless in its spread. Documents tendered to the court revealed police used an electronic tracking device to link Mr Broadbent's vehicle to the places where the fires started. Police alleged that on one occasion, Mr Broadbent, dressed in his Rural Fire Service uniform, was stopped by police in his car near where a fire had been lit. He did not enter a plea today and an application runescape money for bail was denied. The case was adjourned to Moree Local Court tomorrow. The Rural Fire Service said in a statement that Mr Broadbent had been stood down pending the outcome of the court case.
